Daniel Formal toma el mando de Brand Prix Castrol

Luego de completadas dos fechas del Campeonato internacional Brand Prix Castrol, el piloto costarricense Daniel Formal se consolida como el líder absoluto luego de dos triunfos consecutivos. El buen nivel del corredor se ha puesto de manifiesto en la pista guatemalteca.

Brand Prix Castrol, como todos los seriales también tuvo un largo receso a causa de la pandemia de COVID-19 y solo se había disputado un heat, el 14 de marzo, pero para este fin de semana se completó la fecha 1 y se cumplió la fecha 2.

Formal se volvió a convertir en el máximo dominador de la temporada, y en el recuento de la primera fecha fue amo y señor, seguido de Ramón Zaghi, segundo, y Adolfo el Pato Castillo, tercero.

En la categoría Sport, René Kattan se llevó los máximos honores, para dejar segundo a la dupla de Joni Batch y Luis Ibarguen, y tercero a Carlos Maldonado.

Para la segunda fecha que se disputó durante el fin de semana, Formal volvió a tomar el mando de los dos heats disputados para firmar el triunfo y un fin de semana memorable para su causa.

Cristian Saravia subió al podio como segundo y Yuri Monroy como tercero, mientras que Titi Guerrero se impuso en Sport, con René Kattan y Albeerto Guerrero como segundo y tercero, respectivamente.
